Welcome to the redesigned website of the Parish Church of S. Michael and All Angels, with S. Catherine.

We are an Anglican parish within the Church of England. We are in the Diocese of Manchester and our diocesan Bishop is the Rt Rev Nigel McCulloch.

Our worship is in the Catholic tradition, and in May 2005, our PCC voted to adopt Resolution C. We are under the Extended Episcopal Care of the Bishop of Beverley, Rt Rev Martyn Jarrett.

Parish life at S. Michael’s is focussed primarily on the Mass, which is celebrated every day, except Mondays and Saturdays. It’s where the church meets, and it’s the springboard for mutual support and social contact.

Full details of all our service times can be found on the ‘Services’ page of this site.

We hope you find the information here useful. We welcome your comments and suggestions, either by e-mail to:

webmaster@stmichaelschurchpeelgreen.org.uk or on this site’s guestbook.

Letter from the Vicarage....
April 2008

Dear Friends,

Many of you will remember that in September 2004 we held a Vision Weekend as a result of which we launched a three year vision Programme and created six Vision Groups.  Having identified the areas on which it was felt necessary to focus.  These, as you will see on the inside front cover of our magazine were: Worship, Fabric, Finance, Media & Communication and Young People. continued...
